We have knocked thme into the sink, and they didn't chip or break, and didn't hurt the sink ceramic. I would never have any other kind of soap dish again. Was this review helpful to you? Berry (SF Bay Area, CA, USA) Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) I didn't buy this to hold soap. I bought it to place next to my kitchen sink so my sponge will drain into the sink. Works great! If you want to know exactly how big this holder is (without dealing with the measurements), then imagine an ordinary-sized sponge and that is EXACTLY how big the holder is. Love it! Scharfenberger (Nashville, TN) Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) I hadn't used bar soap in 10 years due to hating that gross soggy feeling that all bars inevitably get. While out shopping one day I found a fantastic smelling organic bar soap that I just had to try and the search was on for a holder that wouldn't make it mushy. The saver's solid design is perfect to let the runoff go right into the sink, but still keep the soap solid. I will be buying more for my bathroom sink and tub. Was this review helpful to you? I have tried many different soap dishes over the years. This is by far the best.
I prefer soap bars to liquid soap but the problem with soap bars is that the bar can become soft from sitting in water and then the "soap scum" results. I have used these for about two weeks and it is, by far, the best soap dish I have ever used. The sink does not appear to be getting coated from the drainage. The soap seems to last longer and thus these dishes pay for themselves. I would suggest buying two for every sink so that you can change them out and put the used one in the dishwasher. Carter "Impressed" (Mullens,WV USA) Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) I love this Soap Dish. I was so tired of cleaning out the other kind of dishes. Dumping out the water, watching my soap Disappear if left sitting in water... Now my hand soap sits high and dry and last longer. A smart design but yet so simple. I am thinking about getting two more. A Great Gift, nobody will already have.. Check it out, Try one for yourself, you won't be unhappy.[..] Was this review helpful to you? I wish I had read the review where someone has mentioned that one must have plenty of room on the edge or corner of sink for this to work properly. I agree. If the sink has a tapered edge it has a tendency to fall into it. So your sink edge has to be flat as shown in the product pic for it to work properly.
Overall a good common sense product. Was this review helpful to you? Less than 24 hours being used, I can say that this product it stable - if on a flat surface on your sink. Needs a 4 inch long by 3 1/2 inch wide area to sit on. Fits perfectly on mine. More sturdy than I thought. Heavy Plastic. Angle is not flexable though. Does what is advertised! Saves soap from getting soggy. Was this review helpful to you? This thing is cheaply made and looks it, but it really works. We've had fancy soap dishes that we've just donated to Goodwill or thrown out because soap just turns into a soggy mess on them. This one the soap stays completely dry, no soggy mess. My inner geek likes to watch the water drain right off it.
I'd like to find it in a little nicer design that blended with the rest of the bathroom, but I appreciate the function enough of it to tolerate the looks of it. Was this review helpful to you? YesNo Report abuse | Permalink Comment Comment (1)
